Dr James Brown MBBS, FRACS(Ortho), FAOrthoA is a Brisbane-based orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacement, trauma surgery of the lower limb and soft tissue injuries to the knee.

Dr Brown received most of his surgical training in Brisbane hospitals, and following attainment of his Orthopaedic Fellowship he completed sub-specialty training in Edinburgh and London.
His private practice is located at Level 1, St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside and he privately operates at St Vincent's and St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital.

Dr Brown is the Deputy Director of Orthopaedics at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
